Following limited numbers of hay bales and haylage available recently we are very happy to announce that we are no longer experiencing a shortage.
Choosing the right hay is important for the health of your horse. Many different types of hay are acceptable in horse feeding programs. Here at Leighs Animal Feeds Store we have local availability of good quality hay and we won't be beaten on price.
If you have a horse whose needs are a little more specific for keeping condition we have bales of premium haylage available. Naturally fermented premium haylage is richer in protein than our standard haylage. Great for horses who need a little more condition. But if your horse is "good doer" you may want to try our standard haylage which provides more protein than hay but less than our premium haylage.
